About Xander
I am an alumnus of Dartmouth College, where I studied Spanish and Portuguese, with a particular focus on conflict and different forms of violence in Brazil. The vast majority of my coursework during my time was conducted in the target language; I am a fully fluent speaker able to help you reach your language goals. I have significant professional teaching experience and will work with you to develop an appropriate plan to maximize your learning.

B.A. in Romance Languages from Dartmouth College. 3 years of TA experience and 2 years in my own classroom. I'm happy to teach anyone from beginners to advanced students.
I can help you improve your performance in a Portuguese class by helping nail down material. I offer formal tutoring to accompany a class, as well as more informal practice sessions and personalized private lessons.
I have a strong background in Linguistics and can really help you nail pronunciation, as well as a deep understanding of grammar. My dialect is closest to that of São Paulo, but I'm familiar with a variety of dialects from around Brazil.
