About Amy Lou
¡Hola, soy Amy Lou! I’m a Filipina who had the opportunity to live in Peru, South America, for over ten years, which is where I learned Spanish. When I was reassigned back to Cebu, Philippines, I started helping friends master the basics of the language. I’ve conducted Spanish tutorials for beginners, working mostly with South Korean students who chose Spanish as their second language for school.

Each session lasted 45 minutes, focusing on helping students with their Spanish homework and reviewing what they covered in class. We mostly followed their textbooks, but I created extra practice exercises tailored to their individual needs. Because they were beginners, we relied heavily on example drills to reinforce the basics.
