About Ruzhica
I studied at the Faculty of Italian Language and Literature in Skopje, Macedonia. I went many times to Italy from North to South and experienced the culture, architecture, music, food, fashion, cinematography etc. Italian is my passion and I want to teach students of all ages and levels and to share with them this beautiful language, civilisation and culture. Language is not just what we learn at school or from a book. It is a live matter that is changing all the time.

In my lessons I share stories from my visits to Italy and the students find them very interesting. To get better into the language, in my lessons I always include songs and famous films from Italian cinema. With my students, I often organise Italian dinners in special Italian restaurants, to taste Italian food, and we often prepare coffee in the classroom, just to see and to try the Italian tastes. I usually explain dining habits and the ritual of drinking coffee on certain occasions. Also, it’s important for me what the student wants to learn from Italian culture. If somebody is interested in having more texts or articles about sport, tourism, food or music, we work around those topics. My lesson is interactive, involving Italian music, jokes, food, gesticulation.
