Started working on my GRE with this tutor about three months before my test date and it made a real difference. So I started because my partner's family speaks Italian at home, and I wanted to actually keep up instead of just nodding along. We start with a quick recap of last time, then move into whatever the new topic is. The teacher explains grammar simply enough that I don't feel dumb when I mess up (which is often). It's been a few months, and I can follow most of the conversation now and actually say stuff back sometimes. I would recommend it if you want to learn Italian for actual life reasons, not exams or whatever.
