About Mattia
I believe that improvement comes from consistency, trust, and enjoying the learning process. When I work with young athletes, my priority is to create a positive, supportive, and engaging environment where children can learn through play while gradually developing coordination, confidence, and technical skills. Building a passion for the game is just as important as teaching it. For goalkeepers and older players, I bring a high level of professionalism, dedication, and attention to detail. Every session is carefully planned, and I expect commitment and effort from my players because real improvement comes from consistent application over time. One of my core principles is that players should never be afraid to make mistakes. There is no judgment, no intimidating atmosphere, and no moral criticism—only constructive technical feedback aimed at helping each player improve. Mistakes are an essential part of learning, and I am far happier to see a player make an error, understand why it happened, and grow from it than to see them perform well with little focus or genuine effort. I strive to create an environment where players feel comfortable asking questions, challenging themselves, and pushing their limits without fear of failure. My availability, support, and commitment to every athlete are always there, because development is a long-term process built on trust and communication.

My approach is centered on creating a positive, engaging, and development-focused environment for every athlete.
For children, I strongly believe that learning should be fun. Sessions are designed to blend games and playful activities with skill development, helping young players improve coordination, balance, confidence, and fundamental motor abilities while enjoying every training session. For goalkeepers, I place a strong emphasis on technical development, explosiveness, and building solid fundamentals that are essential in the modern game. Training focuses on shot-stopping, footwork, positioning, handling, and ball distribution, while also paying special attention to key aspects that become increasingly important as players develop, such as high claims, aerial dominance, positioning, and decision-making. Every exercise will include a Real Game Scenario which is pivotal, especially for goalkeeper, to understand the game. Every session is personalized according to age, experience, and individual goals, with the objective of helping each player grow, improve, and enjoy the process.
