About Safak
I graduated with a BA in Fashion Design and Womenswear from Istituto Marangoni London. Today, I balance my work as the Founder and Creative Director of the fashion and styling agency Besque with freelance digital design and private 1-on-1 tutoring.
Over the years, I have mentored students and aspiring designers in creative subjects such as portfolio preparation, fashion design, and styling, as well as technical software including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and CLO3D 3D garment simulation. My industry experience spans traditional pattern cutting, zero-waste garment construction, and digital prototyping, allowing me to guide students through both conceptual research and technical execution for BA/MA university applications.
As a dedicated tutor with expertise in fashion design, creative direction, and digital technology, I am deeply committed to helping students build an authentic design identity without relying on fast-paced, short-lived trends. I focus on creating a supportive, structured online environment tailored to each student's unique learning style and career goals.
