About Isobella
HI!! My name is Isobella, I am a 20 year old physics student currently studying my degree at the University of Manchester. I am originally from Newcastle. Science and maths isn't just something I do for purely educational purposes, its really something I love and enjoy.
I offer support in Maths, Chemistry and Physics at GCSE level, but would also be happy to look into and offer biology support as-well. At A-Level, Maths and Physics is where I can provide most of my support, but with extra preparation, I would also be more than happy to go over any A-Level Chemistry content. All of the above can be any specification, I will completely familiarise myself with whichever exam board is being sat.
Although I don't have the same experience as others, everyone has to start somewhere and I'm hoping that my enthusiasm shows. I used to attend an after school A-Level Maths session, at which I spent my time helping people, explaining and going through questions. I also mentored younger years during Yr11 in both maths and reading. Both my parents are science and maths teachers so through my life I've picked up many of the things they have said, this is also gives me assess to extra resources.
My sessions can be flexible to whatever you or your child is after. From going over past paper questions, reviewing and explaining topics and also trying new revision techniques, as I understand one method isn't enough to help get the grades you want to achieve. I recognise that there isn't always one method or explaination that works for everyone, but I have the patience to go over and stick at it until we are both confident in you or your child's understanding.
I pride myself in my organisational skills and timekeeping also, which should give you confidence I would never be late or miss a session.
