About Shania
Hello! My name is Shania, and I’m a fully qualified post-primary teacher from Ireland with a Professional Master of Education and over 5 years of classroom and 6 years tutoring experience. I specialize in Irish, Business Studies, and English as a Foreign Language (EFL), and I’m passionate about helping learners of all ages reach their full potential.
I have a Professional Master's in Education with 6 years of teaching experience. I also have a BA in Irish and Business. I graduated with a 1.1 in both my Master's and BA.
Fluent Irish Speaker- Attended Irish primary and secondary school and thought in a Irish-medium secondary school.
Over the past few years, I’ve taught students ranging from young beginners to adult learners, developing lessons that are clear, engaging, and adapted to each individual’s needs.
Whether you’re preparing for Junior Cycle, Leaving Certificate exams, improving your English for work or travel, or simply building confidence in a new subject, I can provide structured, supportive lessons designed to help you succeed.
My teaching style combines direct instruction and interactive, student-centered learning. I believe in creating a positive and encouraging atmosphere where learners feel comfortable to ask questions, make progress, and enjoy the learning process.

I take a student-centered approach to learning, therefore I cater each lesson to the learner's needs.
Lesson duration is typically 55-60 minutes.
The lessons are for students of all ages and levels: Primary, Secondary, Higher Education, and Adult Learners.
Lessons are tailored to each individual students needs. And each student is provided with feedback and resources after each lesson.
Group lessons are discounted at €25 per hour per student.

Our daughter always found the Irish oral really stressful, but since starting lessons with Shania there’s been such a big change. She’s so much more confident speaking now.
