About Ciara

Haigh! My name is Ciara, I am a student born and raised in the Gaeltacht of Galway. I sat all my Leaving Cert exams through Irish this year. I am currently doing a C1 Diploma sa Ghaeilge to maintain my standard of Irish. I have always had a great passion for the Irish language and I had the privilege of being raised with a mix of both Irish and English! I have a combination of Connemara Irish and Book Irish. This will be beneficial to the student as I have a wide stór focail (vocabulary) as well as the natural rhythm of the spoken language!

About the lesson

•achieved H1 in Leaving Cert Irish (2022) and currently doing a C1 Diploma sa Ghaeilge.
•goal to make classes enjoyable and educational and to encourage student to form positive relationship with the Irish language!
•lessons tailored to the individual student, guided by the different learning styles theory eg. visual, auditory.
•lesson length: 1 hour
