We’ll start off by establishing where you want to get to. I teach using the songs you want to learn as the structure. As you learn to play a song, you will come across new techniques, from strumming rhythms and fingerpicking to recognising keys and being able to play up and down the guitar. We will then focus on practising those techniques until we can play the song, and in the process you have picked up an integral guitar playing skill which you can apply across genres. I have developed a bank of songs for you to practise each technique, with a range of levels.
