About Faye
I am a professional piano tutor with extensive experience teaching students of all ages and levels. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Music, giving me strong knowledge in theory, technique, and performance. I have taught beginners, intermediate learners, and advanced students preparing for exams, recitals, and competitions. My lessons are student-centered and personalized, tailored to each learner’s goals, pace, and learning style. I use real-life examples and case studies to make rhythm, melody, and harmony practical and relatable. Motivation is a key part of my teaching, and I encourage students to set goals, monitor progress, and celebrate achievements. Problem-solving is integrated into lessons to strengthen critical thinking and independence. I emphasize integrity, maintaining a safe, honest, and supportive learning environment. I am flexible, adapting lessons to each student’s pace, abilities, and objectives. Alongside piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and basic composition. I prepare students for exams, competitions, and performances while fostering creativity, confidence, and discipline. Lessons are offered online or in-person for learners of all ages. I focus on developing technical skills, expressive playing, and a lifelong love for music. Each lesson is engaging, motivating, and productive. I emphasize motivation, encouraging students to set goals, celebrate achievements, and maintain enthusiasm and confidence in their learning.
Problem-solving exercises are an important part of each lesson, guiding students to tackle challenges, explore solutions, and strengthen analytical and independent thinking skills. I teach with integrity, creating a supportive, honest, and respectful environment where students feel safe to experiment, make mistakes, and grow. I am highly flexible, customizing lessons to each student’s learning style, age, skill level, and goals. Alongside piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and composition to provide a well-rounded musical education. Lessons are available online or in-person for learners of all ages. My aim is to help students play confidently, express themselves creatively, and develop a lifelong love and understanding of music.
