About Esra
As an international artist and dedicated tutor, I’m passionate about helping others unlock their creativity and develop confidence in their artistic voice. After completing my education in Turkey, I have worked with people of all ages and in a variety of educational settings. Over the past decade in the UK, I’ve gained extensive experience teaching in secondary schools and running private art workshops. I combine traditional and contemporary techniques from painting and drawing to mixed media and printmaking and provide expert feedback to refine your artistic practice and deepen your understanding of contemporary art. Whether your goal is to build a portfolio, exhibit your work, or collaborate professionally, I tailor each session to your personal ambitions. I offer technical training in any medium or style, supporting students of all levels, from beginners to practising artists seeking mentorship. Esra is a very talented artist and a great communicator. She makes all the art theory easy to understand while also giving engaging and fun lessons.
Through our art lessons and projects together, Esra allowed me to hone my artistic skills in many different media types, and expanded my portfolio- through this i was able to not only get a scholarship in art for Kingston Grammar School, but I was also able to use the skills I learned in our lessons to get 9 in Art and Design GCSE.
