About Alexander
I have experience with students of all abilities. I have served as a tutor at the Coin Street Community Centre, teaching children as young as nine. All of my students from the Community Centre showed a marked improvement in their end-of-year exams.
I have extensive experience with entrance exams for super-selective schools at both 11+ and 13+. I passed the Bexley and Kent grammar school 11+ exams with perfect scores. I was also accepted into St Olave's Grammar School, City of London School (on scholarship) and Westminster School (as a Queen's Scholar).
I have also taught multiple successful Oxbridge applicants.

I can give lessons over a wide range of abilities, from primary school level, through students preparing for 11+ or 13+ entrance exams, to those taking GCSEs and A Level. For mathematics, I can assist with university preparation and Olympiads (from junior level through to international level).
My approach focuses on building intuition and mastering fundamentals, as well as developing problem-solving skills and exam technique. I believe in testing and re-testing students to consolidate understanding of material already covered, with expanding time intervals between tests to ensure permanent memory.
