My approach as a Business English tutor is practical, professional, and based on real international business experience. I do not teach English only as a language exercise; I teach it as a communication tool for business, career advancement, negotiations, presentations, interviews, and professional confidence.
I can conduct Business English classes focused on executive communication, sales and business development conversations, presentations, interview preparation, email writing, negotiation language, meetings, cross-cultural communication, and industry-specific English for mining, finance, energy, insurance, supply chains, and international trade.
My teaching methodology is highly applied. I begin by understanding the student’s goals, current English level, industry, and professional needs. From there, lessons are built around real business situations such as introducing yourself professionally, presenting a product or project, writing persuasive emails, participating in meetings, handling customer objections, negotiating terms, giving updates to management, or preparing for job interviews. I focus on vocabulary, clarity, tone, structure, pronunciation, confidence, and the ability to communicate ideas in a professional and persuasive way.
A typical lesson begins with a short warm-up conversation related to the student’s work or goals. We then review a practical business scenario, introduce useful vocabulary and phrases, practise through role-play or discussion, correct grammar and pronunciation naturally, and finish with a short written or spoken task. For example, a lesson may include preparing a sales pitch, rewriting a business email, practising an interview answer, or presenting a market update. Each lesson is designed so the student leaves with language they can use immediately.
What sets me apart is my own business background. I have worked internationally in South Korea and Canada,. I hold a BBA and an Executive MBA, and I have experience in sales, financial services, supply chains, project development, and professional writing.
Because of that background, I understand the pressure professionals face when they need to communicate clearly in English with customers, executives, investors, suppliers, colleagues, or international partners. My lessons are not generic. They are designed to help students sound more professional, confident, natural, and credible in real business situations.
These lessons are ideal for university students, MBA students, young professionals, salespeople, managers, executives, entrepreneurs, engineers, finance professionals, mining and energy professionals, and anyone who needs English for international business. I can support intermediate to advanced learners who want to improve fluency, accuracy, confidence, and professional communication skills.
My goal is simple: to help students use English more effectively in the situations that matter most to their careers.
