About Sophia
I am a political science student with a passion for English Literature. While in my spare time I am dedicated to the gym, cooking, athletics and any outdoor activities possible including horse riding and tennis, I spend most of my time working (as a tutor and nanny of 5 years!), reading (my favourite genres including classics, science fiction and romance) and studying. After finishing my degree I will move on to completing my international teaching degree (iQTS) in order to become an early years teacher where I can teach the building blocks of English, maths and science to the future generations, something I am deeply passionate about.

I have completed GCSEs and IB, with top grades in English for both. As a student studying to become a teacher, my approach to tutoring is calm and learning-based - to not only help you pass exams, but also carry those transferable skills with you for life. This may be into writing CVs, entrance exams, and even needing to analyse reports, etc.

Sophia is a wonderful, kind person to be around who has a genuine passion for helping others. She has a strong love for reading novels and writes beautiful essays that really capture the essence of the topics she writes about. She is a patient and sweet person who will actually take the time needed to help teach things that may be more difficult to grasp. Sophia has a wide vocabulary and an authentic love for the English Language. I believe she is the perfect fit for anyone really struggling and that needs the openness and patience that Sophia provides.
