About Leila
Hi there! My name is Leila, a trilingual and international, third culture kid! Having moved around the world, I have seen first-hand the benefits of learning another language, especially English. My goal is to equip you with as much confidence and independence as possible in your English learning journey. I believe that language learning should be enjoyable, practical, and relevant to your everyday life. I am a CELTA-qualified tutor, trained to teach English to all levels and ages, from complete beginners to advanced speakers. My lessons are student-centred and interactive, focusing on communication, real-world use of language, and building fluency step by step. About My Teaching I teach with a student-centred approach that focuses on communication, confidence, and real-world use of English. My lessons combine interactive activities, guided practice, and personalised feedback, ensuring that students feel supported and motivated. I adapt my methods to each learner’s needs, whether that means grammar drills, speaking practice, writing and spelling, or everyday English. Lesson Length Typical lessons are 60 minutes, but I can also provide shorter or longer sessions depending on your goals. My Qualifications I hold the CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults), one of the most widely recognised and respected English teaching qualifications worldwide. In addition, I am trilingual, which allows me to understand language learning challenges from a learner’s perspective. Who I Teach I work with all levels and ages, from complete beginners to advanced learners. Whether you’re preparing for a class, improving business English, or simply looking to feel more confident in conversations, I can tailor lessons to your needs.
