About Andrew
I am an international and nationally recognised award winning composer and musician. I have been teaching for many years and since 2012 I have been tutoring on a Degree distance Learning course in Music for the Open College of Arts. I have over the years taught from senior school to postgraduate level in music. I am a highly motivated musician and tutor and push for the best from my students at all levels.
My background is in composition but I have also performed as a session man on flute, Bass Guitar and in the Buchner Duo on Flute. I have performed in various ensembles over the years and while a student I was in various rock, jazz, folk and classical ensembles.
I have also taught to various levels in History, English and Art but mainly at A and AS levels.
