About Emmett
"Rhino modeling was not my first software choice when I started my 12 years in the design industry. I initially focused on hand sketching before realizing that architectural surfacing and Boolean operations offer far more control for complex geometry. My BA in Interior Design gives me a unique perspective on how to teach these tools to students who need to bridge the gap between concept and fabrication. I spend time covering how to handle blocks and instances alongside the technicalities of importing or exporting files like STEP, IGES, and STL.
Turning 3D models into accurate 2D drawings is a core skill I enjoy sharing with my students. I am a firm believer that technical precision is a form of art."

My 12 years of experience in the field of interior design means I can explain these abstract commands through the lens of real-world construction. The BA in Interior Design I earned at University College Cork provides the structural framework for how we approach surfacing and geometric precision.
