About Cathie
The soft click of a weighted key echoing in a quiet room defines the start of my technical approach. I utilise 13 years of experience to teach sight playing and complex classical repertoire to students of varying backgrounds.
My Master of Music in Vocal Studies informs how I explain phrasing, scales, and arpeggios on the piano. You will receive guidance on intricate pedalling technique and effective memorisation techniques. I have coached 39 students through the nuances of music theory and chord voicing. I keep my methods simple and effective for all learners.
