About John
I am a dedicated violin tutor with 8 years of teaching experience, working with students from school level to working professionals. I am passionate about teaching and enjoy helping students discover their potential.
My teaching philosophy is based on patience, understanding, and consistent practice. I believe that anyone can learn violin with the right guidance and effort. I focus on building a strong foundation by teaching basics such as posture, bow control, rhythm, and note reading.
I then guide students towards advanced techniques and musical expression. I also provide regular feedback and practice support to help students improve continuously. I have successfully trained over 150 students, many of whom have improved their confidence and performance skills. I create a friendly and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable. My goal is to make violin learning a fulfilling and enjoyable journey.

My teaching approach is based on clarity, practice, and real-life learning. I use simple examples and case studies to explain violin techniques, which helps students understand music in a practical way.
I focus on strong fundamentals such as posture, bow movement, scales, and sound quality. I ensure that students fully understand each concept before moving forward. This builds confidence and improves performance.
I maintain clear communication with my students. I encourage them to ask questions and share their learning challenges. I provide regular feedback and guidance to help them improve step by step.
Integrity is at the core of my teaching. I stay committed, honest, and supportive. I motivate students to practise regularly and stay disciplined.
Along with violin, I teach music theory, rhythm exercises, ear training, and basic composition. My goal is to help students develop complete musical knowledge and enjoy their learning journey.
