About Owusu
I have also worked in education from 2018, my experiences as a substitute teacher in Milton Keynes secondary schools has taught me a lot about curriculum development, time management, and fusing my teaching methodology to my students’ individual needs. Currently working as a Data Analyst and Accountant, I decided to take the education of my children into my own hands to enable them to accelerate their learning. My excellent tutoring career has nurtured in me a natural talent for teaching. My life experiences have taught me how to tackle one problem at a time, and I believe that using this approach—paired with my unconventional examples that enable students to think for themselves.

My teaching methodology is based on two main things: focusing on learning new knowledge and taking time to understand key concepts. I adapt that lesson to the specific needs of the student based on their knowledge, ability and grasp of the concepts. Using a combination of resources in the form of worksheets, class tasks, and past papers. Also, I believe in the strong ethic of providing feedback to the parents, so that they are aware of their child’s progress. I teach maths, chemistry, computing, accounting and physics up to GCSE level.
