About Tessa
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and have dedicated the past nine years to both programming and teaching. My journey began with a simple curiosity about how technology works, which quickly expanded into a passion for designing systems and solving complex problems. Over time, I realised that sharing this knowledge with others was just as fulfilling as writing code itself. Teaching programming allows me to empower students with a skill that shapes the future. My approach is centred on patience, personalisation, and clarity. I recognise that every learner absorbs information differently, so I adapt my methods to suit individual learning styles. I encourage students to think critically, ask questions, and trust their ideas. Through encouragement and steady guidance, I help learners overcome doubt and build lasting confidence in their technical abilities. Beyond teaching, I continue developing projects, exploring emerging technologies, and refining my skills through constant practice. Programming is not just my field — it is my creative language and lifelong pursuit. Sharing its power with others is both my profession and my purpose.

Computer programming is a powerful blend of logic, creativity, and structured problem-solving that allows ideas to transform into functioning systems. Through this approach, programming becomes an intellectually stimulating and empowering experience. As they progress, they move into object-oriented programming, data handling, and system design. Advanced learners work on full-scale projects involving databases, application interfaces, and optimisation techniques. I incorporate real-world challenges, collaborative tasks, and debugging exercises to strengthen analytical ability. This structured progression develops adaptability and creative problem-solving in every learner. Programming ultimately nurtures independence, resilience, and critical thinking.
