I am an anthropologist from Barcelona, I am 28 years old and I have been dancing for more than ten years. Living between Paris and Seville from 2013 to 2018, I learned with teachers of the stature of José Maya, La Tani, El Yiyo or El Torombo. My classes are especially aimed at people who know nothing or very little about flamenco. I love teaching at this level, because it is where the foundations are formed and it is a very important stage. The classes are without flamenco shoes, with comfortable street shoes, because what I try to convey is not so much steps but an understanding of cante and therefore the structure of the dance. One of the pillars of the methodology and of the objectives of my classes is to deepen the compass, to accustom the ear, until over time it becomes organic. I teach markings, calls, clap finishers. The material I offer is not complicated but quite the opposite, simple but effective, traditional resources. These resources will be studied in the form of choreography but always taking into account that they can be independent of the marked structure, being able to create new combinations.
