About Jodie
Hi all, I’m Jodie, I’ve gained a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Auckland University of Technology. Along with achieving a degree, I’ve gained practical knowledge and extensive experience working in the chemical industry and would love to pass on knowledge to inspire the next lot of curious minds.
I discovered my passion for untangling the complexities of chemistry during my final years of high school. My journey through university helped me discover I have a knack for explaining concepts in a way that makes them easy to understand. Since then I’ve been passing on knowledge to the people around me allowing me to discover my passion of making chemistry extremely enjoyable.

I can break down and help you understand complex theories and guide you on how to apply them in real life. I will provide support every step of the way, ready to answer any questions.
As I believe every student is different, I will place an emphasis on tailoring each session to the needs of each student. Whether it is high school chemistry or university courses, my approach is patient and focused on building a strong foundation of understanding. My goal as a tutor is not to help you memorise concepts but to help you gain a strong understanding and appreciation for Chemistry.
