About Choo-Kien
I am truly obsessed with guitar, I started learning songs off the tape decks, then started playing in bands. I really enjoy theory and how much harmony and math relate. I also have a Fine Art degree so I’m good at creative process.

I can help you start to write your own music, find your own sound. We can also do some good exercises like find a song you like and learn it from ear with me, then we check tabs and have a music theory discussion. I have way’s of increasing dexterity and timing through simple exercises. I have a good understanding of rock, punk, indie, metal, folk. I am mostly self taught with 30 years experience playing and recording in the indie rock scene. At any level, I can help you start playing well in bands.
