About Yi
Hi! I’m Yi, and I am an incoming math student at the University of Waterloo. I have experience tutoring students from SK to 12th grade at an established math tutoring company. I have also taught programming as one of the leaders of my high school’s programming club. I aim to build a solid foundation that will allow students to make the most of their future education.

Often, students are taught rigid steps to follow, and are tested on their abilities to recall said steps. I believe that students should instead focus on understanding content and apply it in new ways. This will allow a student to have a far deeper understanding of material, and set themselves up for the future. Lessons are intended for students between grades 6-12. They will include worksheets and made to challenge students and help develop new skills.
