About Aryan
I am a recent A-Level student with A* predictions in Maths and Further Maths, and an incoming student at UCL studying Engineering & Architectural Design (subject to final results).
In school, I started in a lower set in earlier years, before progressing to top grades at GCSE and strong A-Level results. This gives me a clear understanding of both sides: what it feels like to struggle with maths, and how to systematically improve to top performance.
Because of this, I focus on explaining concepts in a way that makes sense from first principles, rather than just giving shortcuts.
I also work as a tennis coach at David Lloyd, which has developed my ability to communicate clearly, stay patient under pressure, and adapt explanations to different learning styles.
Why students improve quickly with me
Recently completed the same exams and specifications
Strong background in advanced maths (Further Maths)
Clear, structured teaching style
Ability to relate to students who lack confidence in maths
Focus on exam technique as well as understanding
Flexible (online sessions available)
If you’re looking to improve grades, build confidence, or aim for top grades, feel free to get in touch.

My tutoring is focused on building real understanding and exam confidence, not memorising methods.
Each lesson is structured to help students:
Understand core concepts clearly
Break down difficult exam questions step-by-step
Recognise patterns in A-Level and GCSE exams
Improve accuracy under time pressure
Avoid the most common mark-loss mistakes
I adapt lessons depending on the student’s level, whether that’s rebuilding foundations or pushing for top grades.
My goal is simple: make maths feel logical and predictable, even in hard exam questions.

I’ve known Aryan for a while and had the opportunity to study alongside him. He is an extremely talented mathematician and was able to clearly explain difficult mathematical concepts. He’s patient, easy to ask questions to, and ensures that you understand before moving on, which really helps with building confidence. I’d definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and effective tutor.
I finished year 12 predicted a D in further maths, and then got Aryan as a tutor. He deeply understands further maths, knowing how the techniques are useful in real life, and how they were developed, making it much easier to understand the content. Learning from someone who genuinely understands the subject is completely different to learning from someone who just memorised techniques and definitions. In fact, his teaching style (clear and contextual) has actually inspired me in lots of areas of my life, and I couldn’t recommend him more
