About Shane
Hello! My name is Shane, and I am an incoming Bachelor of Science in Psychology student with a strong passion for learning and helping others succeed academically. Throughout my studies, I have consistently valued hard work, discipline, and effective communication—qualities that I bring to every tutoring session.
Although I am at the beginning of my university journey, I am committed to providing professional, well-prepared, and supportive lessons tailored to each student's needs. I understand that every learner is different, and I take the time to explain concepts clearly, answer questions patiently, and create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable and confident.
My interest in psychology has strengthened my understanding of how people learn, stay motivated, and develop confidence in their abilities. I use this knowledge to encourage students, help them overcome academic challenges, and build effective study habits that support long-term success.

As an incoming BS Psychology student, I believe that every learner has a unique way of understanding and retaining information. My teaching approach focuses on patience, encouragement, and creating a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and expressing their thoughts.
My lessons are interactive and tailored to each student's needs and learning pace. I use simple explanations, real-life examples, guided practice, and constructive feedback to help students understand concepts more effectively. Rather than simply providing answers, I encourage critical thinking and independent problem-solving skills.
A typical lesson begins with a brief review of previous topics, followed by the introduction of new concepts. I explain the material step by step, provide examples and exercises, and then assess understanding through practice questions and discussion.
