About Max
As an incoming Oxford Law student I have enjoyed academic successes and would like to assist others using my experience. My lessons are structured, calm, and outcome-focused. I begin by identifying gaps in understanding, then break concepts down clearly using worked examples and guided practice. Sessions combine explanation, active questioning, and exam-style application, with an emphasis on building confidence, clarity of expression, and independent thinking. Each lesson ends with clear feedback and targeted follow-up work.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes, which I find is the most effective balance between depth and focus. Longer sessions can be arranged where appropriate, particularly for exam preparation or admissions support.
I achieved 2 A* and 2 A at A-Level and hold an offer to study Law at the University of Oxford. Alongside my academic background, I have experience supporting younger students: as Senior Monitor at my former school, I was regularly responsible for assisting pupils in Years 9–11 with their academic work and general study skills.
My lessons are suitable for GCSE and A-Level students (typically ages 14–18).
