About Melissa
I am a professional Actress and English teacher. I trained at Central School of Speech and Drama and later qualified as a teacher of English and Drama. I have been teaching for over five years and have taught over 600 students online and face to face. I regularly teach Public Speaking group classes and audition techniques for drama school applicants specialising in classical and modern text.

love teaching and creating an imaginative learning environment. I believe every student can learn and grow in a safe stimulating space. I strongly believe intelligence and learning come from a positive attitude. Both from the teacher and the learner. I promote a Growth Mindset in my classes.
My endeavour as a teacher of English and Drama is to inspire learners to think for themselves. Socrates said ‘I cannot teach anybody anything I can only make them think.’ This is a philosophy I strongly believe. I teach my students to be independent critical thinkers and speakers. I encourage collaborative working and discussion.
