About Alexis
I study Mathematics at Imperial College London, after ranking among the top students at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), one of Europe’s leading science universities. I have worked as a teaching assistant at EPFL, supporting undergraduate courses in both pre and applied mathematics — including for students outside mathematics such as architecture and engineering. This experience taught me to explain complex ideas clearly and adapt to different backgrounds. I want to focus on students at A-Level, IB, and university level, ensuring to provide highly personalized support.

I offer clear, structured lessons focused on genuine understanding and confident problem-solving. My approach is rigorous but accessible: I help students see how mathematical ideas connect, rather than just memorising methods. Each session is tailored to the student’s background and goals — whether preparing for A-Level, IB (AA/AI, HL/SL), or university mathematics. Lessons are available in English or French, and can be held online or in person (within 30 minutes from Hammersmith).
