About Jiwoo
Hi, I’m Jiwoo! I’m a Biological Sciences BSc and Molecular Biology & Pathology of Viruses MSc graduate from Imperial College London, now working as a research assistant in a paediatric infectious diseases genetics lab. I love biology, but I didn’t always find it easy. When I first started university, I struggled a lot. I came from a different educational background, and suddenly I was surrounded by people who seemed to understand everything instantly. I felt overwhelmed, behind, and unsure of myself. It took time, patience, and the right kind of guidance before I finally found my confidence and learned how to study effectively. Because of this, I’m passionate about helping students who feel the same way, whether you’re stuck on a topic, anxious about exams, or simply want someone who explains things in a way that actually makes sense. I know exactly how it feels to be confused and stressed, and I also know how transformative it can be to have someone supportive guiding you through it. I teach because I genuinely enjoy seeing people “get it.” I want my students to feel confident, capable, and proud of their progress. My own journey shaped who I am as a tutor: patient, understanding, encouraging, and completely committed to helping you succeed. Hi! I’m Jiwoo, a BSc Biological Sciences and MSc Molecular Biology & Pathology of Viruses graduate from Imperial College London, currently working as a research assistant in a paediatric infectious disease genetics lab. I offer GCSE, A-level, and undergraduate biology tutoring, both online and in person in London depending on location. My teaching approach is clear and structured: I believe simplicity is key for understanding. Details
£25/hour 5-hour bundle: £110 10-hour bundle: £200 Free 30-minute taster session to discuss goals and learning needs. Teaching materials will be tailored to each student after a short discussion of their level, goals, and exam board. All resources I create or provide are included in the lesson price.
