About Reetika
Hello! I am currently pursuing a B.Sc. with a major in Chemistry at IIT Kharagpur, where I continue to strengthen my understanding of chemistry every day. Teaching has always been my passion, and I genuinely enjoy helping students understand concepts and solve their doubts with patience and clarity. I believe that chemistry becomes easy and interesting when it is explained in simple language with logical reasoning and real-life examples rather than through memorization. I create a friendly and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and learning at their own pace. My goal is not only to help students score well in their school examinations but also to build their confidence and develop a genuine interest in chemistry. I believe that chemistry is a subject that should be understood through concepts rather than memorized. My teaching approach focuses on making chemistry simple, interesting, and relatable by connecting every topic with real-life examples, simple diagrams, and logical explanations. I begin each class with a quick revision of previous concepts, introduce the new topic from the basics, and gradually move towards advanced applications so that students build a strong foundation and gain confidence. I encourage students to ask questions, think critically, and understand the reason behind every chemical reaction, formula, and concept instead of learning them by heart. During my classes, I use interactive discussions, concept-based explanations, problem-solving sessions, and regular practice questions to strengthen understanding and improve exam performance. One of my strengths as a teacher is my ability to simplify difficult chemistry topics into easy and memorable concepts using everyday examples, comparison techniques, and step-by-step explanations that suit each student's learning pace. My classes are specially designed for school students, particularly those in Classes 9 to 12, who want to build strong fundamentals, score well in examinations, and develop genuine interest and confidence in chemistry.
