About Subham
I am Subham Mohapatra, a graduate from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur in its Dual Degree course with M.Tech in Financial Engineering and B.Tech in Biotechnology.
I started my journey with OYO via campus placements and later switched to an early stage startup named JAVIS based out of Mumbai. Currently I am working at Dream11 in Decision Sciences Team.
All in all I have worked in the field of Data Science & Analytics for more than 3.5 yrs.
Projects: Revenue Projections, Demand Forecasting, Sales Target Setting, Lead Generation System, Recommendation Engine, Route Prioritisation Module, Pricing Algorithm and Churn Modelling
Skill Set: Python, SQL, Looker, Excel, AWS
When I am not all about work, my other passions take up my energy - Cricket and Dramatics.

I base my class on real life problem statements, previously faced in Hackathons, in College, in Work Experience and some of the classical ones.
We start off with understanding the problem statement and the data, then we move on to creating our Hypotheses to EDA to Visualisation Dashboards to Insights.
Based on the Insights we will go on to Feature Engineering and it's mathematical hacks. Next we explore on choosing the right model and fine tuning it to obtain our desired results.
At this point, ~95% of people STOP.
The most important part is to understand these results and take important business decisions based on it. After all why do companies spend so much on Data Science & Analytics ?
