About Piu
I am a third-year undergraduate student at IIT Kanpur, pursuing Engineering in Computer Science. I actively volunteer with Prayas, an initiative led by IIT Kanpur students that works towards teaching school students subjects such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English, and Social Studies. Teaching has always been a meaningful part of my journey. Even during my school years, I regularly helped my classmates and juniors with topics they found difficult to understand. Over time, this helped me develop a teaching style that focuses on clarity, intuition, and building concepts from the basics. In my classes, I aim to create a comfortable and encouraging learning environment where students can ask questions freely and gain confidence in their understanding. My goal is not just to help students score well, but to ensure they truly understand the subject.

My classes focus on teaching Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry in an intuitive and concept-oriented manner, with an emphasis on understanding rather than rote learning. I break down complex ideas into simple, relatable explanations so that students can grasp concepts easily and apply them confidently.
I strongly encourage students to ask questions freely—no doubt is ever considered silly or unimportant. I ensure that every student is comfortable with a topic before moving ahead, and I adapt my teaching pace based on individual learning needs.
Along with building strong conceptual clarity, I provide regular practice problems, guided examples, and exam-oriented exercises to strengthen problem-solving skills and boost performance in school examinations.
These classes are designed specifically for school-level students, with a supportive and interactive learning environment that helps students develop confidence, curiosity, and a genuine interest in the subjects.
