About Peak
Hi, I’m Peak. I just graduated from high school this May. I am an aspiring chemical engineer with an offer to study at Imperial College London, one of the UK’s top universities for science and technology. I achieved top grades in IGCSE Extended Math (A*), Further Pure Math (9), and I’m predicted a Level 7 in IB Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches HL—the most rigorous math course in the IB program—as well as Level 7 in Chemistry HL. Having recently completed the IGCSE and IB programs myself, I understand the challenges students face and how to overcome them. My teaching is up-to-date, exam-focused, and based on proven techniques that helped me and my peers succeed. You can expect professional, personalized lessons tailored to your individual goals. Whether you're aiming for a solid pass or striving for an A*, I’ll help you build strong foundations, improve your problem-solving skills, and master past paper strategies. I’m patient, approachable, and results-oriented—always focused on helping you feel confident and well-prepared. As a tutor, I focus on helping students achieve the best possible grades by targeting exactly what’s required in exams. I use a method built around past paper practice and exam-specific techniques, so students learn how to approach different types of questions with confidence and accuracy. I break down complex topics into simpler concepts, then show students how to apply them effectively under exam conditions.
Every student learns differently, so I offer a personalised teaching plan, developed after our first trial lesson. This allows me to assess the student’s strengths, weaknesses, and preferred learning style, so we can focus on areas that will have the most impact. Whether it's building foundational understanding or sharpening exam skills, lessons are tailored to your needs.
What sets me apart is that, as an undergraduate heading to Imperial College London this September, I bring fresh, firsthand experience of the IGCSE and IB system. I know exactly what middle schoolers are going through, and I can teach with up-to-date knowledge of what examiners expect. I’ve achieved top grades in IGCSE Extended Maths (A*), Further Pure Maths (9), Chemistry (A*), and Physics (A*), as well as predicted 7s in IB HL Maths AA and Chemistry.
I will offer tutoring for IGCSE students and younger, including those preparing for Extended Maths, Sciences, and those looking for a head start before moving into IB or A-levels.
