About Lara
Hi, this is Lara! I'm an electronics engineer with a Master’s in Project Management from the University of Auckland, currently working as an IT Project Manager. I’m also a passionate tutor who loves helping students learn in a way that speaks to how they learn best. I specialize in English, Math, Physics, and Biology for NCEA, Cambridge, and IELTS prep. With an IELTS speaking score of 9 and years of mentoring experience, I’m confident in breaking down tricky topics and building students’ understanding and confidence. My lessons are supportive, engaging, and tailored to each learner’s goals; be it boosting grades, improving exam technique, or making sense of subjects that feel overwhelming.

I am an electronics engineer and hold a Master’s degree in Project Management from the University of Auckland. My background allows me to bring a practical and organized approach to tutoring!
