About Marianna
Hi,
My name is Marianna, I am 19. I study at the University of Manchester, doing Liberal Arts. I particularly enjoy studying Middle Eastern History and Politics, however I also study modules in criminology and economics.
Outside of university I am very sporty, I love snowboarding and I ride horses up to a high level.
I am a conscientious individual who endeavours to provide a professional and tailored tutor program. While hopefully instilling confidence into my tutees with simple step by step methods for success in their subjects.

I used tutors the entire way through my school career and found 1:1 focused teaching far more engaging than lessons at school. I have ADHD and understand the struggle to listen to a lecturer / teacher for hours with no practical tasks to engage me. I try and use multiple methods of teaching, such as drawing diagrams, doing a memory quiz and making up songs to remember history timelines ( yes, that got me 98% in my year 7 history exam!!)
Session lengths are 45 minutes or 1 hour, up to GCSE level for humanities and English, and primary school level for Biology.
