About Lewis
Passionate, energetic, and dedicated to making learning engaging, I offer expert tutoring in the humanities, specialising in History and Geography. I studied History at UWE and also have an A-level in Geography, giving me a well-rounded understanding of the subjects I teach. I believe tutoring should be interactive, thought-provoking, and, most importantly, fun! My lessons are designed to spark curiosity and deepen understanding—without relying on YouTube videos. After all, why pay for a tutor just to watch someone else teach? Instead, I provide tailored, dynamic sessions that keep students actively involved in their learning. In addition to subject knowledge, I also help students develop essential debate skills—teaching them how to construct arguments, think critically, and express their ideas with confidence. Whether your child needs help with exam preparation, essay writing, or building confidence in humanities subjects, I’m here to help.

I hold a History degree from UWE Bristol, specialising in the rise of fascism, the Spanish Civil War, and Britain’s involvement in the Ottoman Empire. My approach combines clear explanations, critical analysis, and source evaluation to help students develop a deeper understanding of historical events. With experience supporting SEN students, I adapt lessons to different learning styles, ensuring an accessible and enjoyable learning experience.
