About Hannah
I am a very strong believer in the notion that if you enjoy a subject, your results will improve. As such, I strive to not only teach study skills and content, but to foster a passion and pleasure in doing the subject, which to my belief will yield higher results and greater well-being. I believe my strength as a tutor to be my persistence. This largely manifests in ensuring I do not move on until my student has thoroughly understood a topic, and can confidently reapply the knowledge they've just learnt to more difficult problems or situations.

I believe in the importance of teaching life-long study skills along with the content of the course I am tutoring in. This then allows the academic improvement to stretch (hopefully) not only to student's other subjects, but their future studies and career. I like my sessions to be partly student-led, followed up by assigned work from me to cement their knowledge. I generally recommend two hour lessons minimum twice a week, but am very flexible for clients needs. I teach students from Years 5-9, and am available for both online and in-person tutoring, in the Sydney area. I was a Distinguished Achiever in my HSC and am a University of Sydney Scholar. I have tutored young people through my school and am a registered EzyMath tutor, a company with a lengthy recruitment process.
