About Oliver
Hi my name is Oliver and I finished the HSC in 2024. It was certainly a difficult journey, but with determination I was able to achieve an ATAR of 98.45. I am a HSC All-Rounder who received a Band 6 in 11 units of my studies including English Advanced, English Extension 1, Mathematics Advanced, Biology, Chemistry, and Modern History. I have prior tutoring experience with students across Years 7 to 12 for English and Mathematics.
The HSC is more than just understanding the content, rather it's developing key strategies and skills to allow you to clearly demonstrate your knowledge for teachers and markers. I am able to assist students in Year 11 and 12 for Mathematics Standard 1, Mathematics Standard 2 and Mathematics Advanced. For those in Years 7 to 10, I am able to assist in the core Math subject and developing your skills for your HSC years.

My tutoring approach is focused on encouraging a genuine passion for learning while preparing students with the skills they need to succeed academically. I tailor my lessons to each student’s unique needs, focusing on understanding the requirements and content, completing exam-style questions, and developing strategies for assignments and tests.
My lessons typically run for one hour, but I can also do two hour sessions upon request. I offer online sessions for students in Yr 7 to Yr 12.

Oliver is a reliable individual who ensures that his students actually understanding topics. He explains in ways that are easily understandable yet is also firm in his teaching methods, in that he actually engages with his students and makes an effort to help them learn. He would make a great teacher as he is confident in his knowledge, whilst also willing to learn himself and lastly, help others too.
Oliver was my tutor during the HSC and with his exceptional tutoring, I was able to improve heavily in mathematics standard. Previously, my marks were sitting around 40%-50%, and after our tutoring sessions, I ended up achieving an 81% in the HSC exam. He always made time for additional sessions if I needed extra help which was great during the stressful period. I would definitely recommend Oliver as a tutor to students and am super grateful for his support!
