About Matthew
Hi, I'm Matthew — a hospitality leader with over two decades of experience turning around operations and building strong teams across the U.S., Belize, and Hawaii. I hold a Master of Science in Leadership from Norwich University and am a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), credentials I've applied to real challenges: opening new venues from the ground up, doubling profitability at an underperforming property, and managing full teams through hiring, coaching, and performance development.
Leadership, to me, isn't theory — it's what I practice daily, managing people and operations under real pressure. In these lessons, I bring that same practical grounding to concepts like change management, emotional intelligence, and strategic communication, translating them into tools you can use immediately in your own work.
