About Charlotte
I am a graduate of the University of Glasgow and have a joint, First Class Honours degree in Business and Management, and Philosophy. I have 1 years tutoring experience during which I tutored university students to help them through their studies. I also have 8 A's at GCSE (including English and Maths) and 5 at Scottish Higher level. I have started two businesses - the first was manufacturing and selling vegan, eco-friendly candles. My other business, which I currently run alongside 3 others, is in the food industry and operates within the dessert space. I currently live in Glasgow but would be delighted to give online tutoring if the student is based elsewhere. School and university can both be incredibly daunting and stressful and I completely understand this feeling. Having a tutor to help me every now and then really helped me during university and I thoroughly enjoy providing others with this service.

I tutor both business and philosophy students at school, college or university level. I focus on open discussion and debate in my classes as I find this tends to engage students more and makes them think about the topic matter in a more critical way. The exam board in the UK is very focused on analysis and explanation and so it is very important for students to think critically about their answers - both in business and in philosophy. I always aim to make students feel comfortable and confident in class so that they feel they can ask questions as this leads to the most effective learning.
