I like to create a positive and comfortable learning environment where students feel okay making mistakes and asking questions!
My goal is to help students actually understand what they’re learning instead of just memorizing answers for a test.
I explain things in a simple way and break difficult concepts into smaller steps so they feel less overwhelming.
I also try to make lessons more interactive by working through questions together and giving students chances to practice on their own.
A typical lesson usually starts with going over homework, classwork, or anything the student is confused about. After explaining the topic, I’ll work through examples with them and then give extra practice questions or worksheets to help strengthen their understanding.
I can also prepare different pages of homework or review material depending on what the student needs help with most.
What makes me different as a tutor is that I’m patient, approachable, and easy to talk to. Since I recently learned many of these topics myself, I understand what students usually struggle with and how to explain it in a more relatable way.
I want students to feel more confident in school and leave lessons feeling less stressed and more prepared.
My tutoring is for students up to Grade 8 in Math, Science, and English. I can help with homework, studying for quizzes or tests, improving grades, or just building stronger skills and confidence in class overall.
