Hi! I'm Lisa Bassett, a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher with a passion for helping learners grow in confidence and reach their full potential. I have a background in Drama and a wealth of experience teaching a variety of subjects including English, Afrikaans, History, Life Skills, Technology, and Geography. I’m also actively involved in event planning, social media, and community fundraising, which brings creativity and real-world experience into my teaching. Private Tutoring Approach: As a passionate and experienced educator, my approach to private tutoring is student-centered, engaging, and highly adaptable to individual learning needs. I believe that every learner has a unique way of understanding and interacting with content, and my lessons are designed to meet each student where they are, while gently pushing them to reach their full potential. Languages: I am fluent in both English and Afrikaans, and I am able to teach effectively in either language, depending on the student’s preference.
