About Aarti
Hi! My name is Aarti and I am currently in my last year of undergrad at McGill University. I have been tutoring primary and secondary school level mathematics for seven years and am extremely passionate about student-centered learning. I prioritize getting to know the student and structuring my lessons around their unique needs and preferences. My students gain confidence and skills that help them excel in the classroom even after we finish meeting. I hope to meet you sometime soon!

I am an undergraduate student at McGill studying Cognitive Science and Mathematics with a specialty in Logic and Conceptual Frameworks. I have been tutoring and coaching for over seven years and have had the privilege of working with a diverse spectrum of students that have had unique needs and abilities. Along with having a deep understanding of the SAT and traditional instruction methods, I am trained to understand and collaborate with the unique cognitive needs of the student. I try to create a connection to ensure honest discussions as to what their needs and struggles may be, and how we can try to confront them together. My methodology and technique vary greatly depending on student needs. I am willing to do longer sessions or more frequent hourly sessions based on how the student responds. Courses: Primary Mathematics and English, Trigonometry, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus 1-3, Algebra 1, Statistics, Beginner's Programming, Social/Emotional Learning, Beginner's Swim Lessons/Swim Therapy (all ages)
