About Samira

Hello, and welcome to my page! I am a 4.0 GPA graduate from Humber Polytechnic, where I earned honours in the Police Foundations program. During my time at school, I received numerous awards for academic excellence, including the Paula Pape-Lipson Memorial Scholarship for English and the Governor General's Academic Medal for achieving the highest average in my high school. These accomplishments reflect my dedication to academic excellence and effective communication.

In addition to my academic achievements, I have experience in minor security work at event venues and Billy Bishop Airport.

I have also worked as a tutor with Teenage Tutors, where I assisted students with their homework, reinforced key concepts to prepare for exams, and designed activities to deepen their understanding and consolidate their knowledge. I collaborated closely with students and their families to identify strengths and areas for improvement, fostering a supportive and empowering learning environment. Through this experience—and as someone close in age to college students—I developed a knack for breaking down complex topics into manageable steps, encouraging confidence and independence in my students.
