About Noor
Hi, I'm Noor! I'm an upcoming business undergraduate student, an AP and Honors student, and an L2L (Leading to Learn) certified tutor with over two years of experience helping middle to high school students succeed academically. I specialize in science and English, and love making these subjects feel more approachable and enjoyable for students. My sessions are all about building confidence. I create a space where students feel comfortable asking questions, learning from mistakes, and growing at their own pace. What sets me apart is my mix of patience, positivity, and personalized strategies. I tailor my approach to how you learn best, and I’m always focused on helping you truly understand the material—not just memorize it. Outside of tutoring, I love summer weather, going on hikes, walking outdoors, and swimming. I bring the same energy and calm mindset from those hobbies into my teaching—helping students feel supported and motivated every step of the way. Each session usually starts by going over homework or classwork, which helps us pinpoint what’s tricky or unclear. From there, we build a strong foundation and work up to bigger goals like tests, projects, and exams. I believe in progress you can feel—bit by bit, lesson by lesson. My teaching style is flexible and student-centered. I use step-by-step explanations, relatable examples, and active practice. I also adapt based on how you learn best—whether that's through visuals, hands-on work, or just talking it through. These lessons are ideal for middle to high school students who want support in science, English, math, or AP-level courses—whether you’re trying to catch up, keep up, or get ahead.
