About Andrew
I am an Honors Mathematics Student at the University of Alberta, currently I am four courses away from obtain my Bachelors of Sciences with Honors. I have experience teaching both undergraduates and high school students through private tutoring and work a my Universities Math Help Centre. Mathematics is a life long passion of mine, so working with me I hope for you not only to understand the material but hopefully enjoy it as well!

My teaching methodology is based off of the principle of intelligent problem solving. That is not only understanding what formula or mathematical result you should use to solve a problem but understand why the result you are using works. Understanding why a result in math works not only makes you a better at the subject but also makes the result easier to remember. To achieve this goal I ask my students send me things they need help with before hand and problems they are struggling with. Using this material I design a lesson which presents the material in an enlightening way, after which we work together to solve problems which reinforces the concepts.
