About Ayanna
Reading and writing have always been subjects that I genuinely enjoy, which is one of the reasons I chose to study Philosophy. As an honor student, I have developed strong skills in reading comprehension, analytical thinking, and writing, and I enjoy helping students strengthen those same skills.
I strive to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. My goal is to help students build confidence in their abilities while making reading and writing feel more approachable and enjoyable.

Hi! My name is Ayanna, and I am an honor student and Philosophy major at a private university with a passion for reading and writing. I offer online tutoring through Zoom for elementary school students who want to improve their reading comprehension, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and overall confidence in language arts.
My teaching approach is patient, supportive, and tailored to each student's needs. I believe that every student learns differently, so I adjust lessons based on their goals, strengths, and areas for improvement. A typical lesson may include reading practice, discussion questions, writing exercises, grammar review, and personalized feedback to help students make steady progress.
What sets me apart is my genuine love for language and my ability to connect with students in an encouraging and low-pressure environment. As a student myself, I understand that learning can sometimes feel overwhelming, and I strive to make lessons engaging, approachable, and enjoyable while helping students build skills that will benefit them both inside and outside the classroom.
